Taste What Elliott Dupré Has To Offer

Elliott, can I call you Elliott? I assume yes, but sometimes people have nicknames or middle names they prefer to go by.  Is it Elliott that everyone close to you calls you?

I do normally go by Elliott, although some people have been known to call me “E” or “Elle” for short. Dealer’s choice!

I did some research on the name Elliott and I found a few meanings. I found it means, The Lord is my God. I also found it means, Yahweh or Jehova is God in Greek form. Had you done research on what your name means?

Two things I never discuss with anyone: religion & politics! This falls into one of those categories! 😊

Ok, let me stop being so deep for now! I have all of these ideas of how much fun it would be to hang out with you from looking at your work. You just seem like a good ole fashioned fun time with a bunch of snorting laughs and good food! What does an ideal fun time hanging with you look like? What types of things would you do hanging out with family and friends?

I have learned through the years to never count on somebody else for a good time. I tend to stick solo and travel by myself, take myself on dates and just all around enjoy my own company. I’ve been co-pilot on a Bell Jet Ranger helicopter, rode on a WWII C-47 to look at Christmas lights, gone ghost hunting, road tripped down the PCH and through the Carolinas & Georgia, traveled out of the country and so many other solo adventures. If you wait around on other people, life might just pass you by!

Things I typically do (with or without people): traveling, backpacking, hiking, camping, kayaking, horseback riding, running. I’ve been also playing with the idea of learning to rock climb soon! As you can tell, I’m a very active person, catch me if you can…

But don’t get me wrong, I do see friends and family, along the way. My best friends and I will typically shop, bake or hike and you’ll always find me at all the events catching up with everyone. The first question out of everyone’s mouth is always, “Where’s your next adventure?” and I can never answer it because I never know!

Have you always wanted to model or was there some other career beforehand?

I still have a career – I’m a revenue manager for a third-party hotel booking website and I have been doing it for 10 years now. I started at the bottom and worked my way up through the company within the first year. Once I put my sights on something I want, I get it!

Do you have hopes of super-model status someday or are you sort of like, let’s just see where this goes and if it’s just me where I am today, I’m okay with that?

I’m completely okay with where I am today, since I only started modeling to get out of my comfort zone. A few years ago, I would have been too timid to take pictures in front of people – it’s made me a better, well-rounded person and that was the goal all along. Success!

Are you currently signed with an agency? If not, have you ever considered submitting to one to be signed?

No, I have never sought out modeling, I just take whatever opportunities come my way.

I believe I saw that you can bake. What’s your favorite dessert to bake?

I like to get creative and try new things, but I always fall back on my cakes if I’m going to be attending an event and need to bring something. The funny thing is, I’m not a huge sweets person and only bake for the fun of it – everyone else gets to eat my creations!

Also, are you like one of the “from scratch” bakers? I love those bakers by the way! LOL

Is there any other way?! You won’t see me in the store buying boxed items. My mom has always said I cook and bake like my grandma used to and I definitely take that as a compliment. Although the calories of my creations are unforgiving! Haha

I think I also saw you’re a 9mm type of lady. Do you get out and hit the gun range often? And how many guns do you own?

I own 2 guns – Springfield XDM 9 and my carry (for when I go camping solo) Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9. I love going to the range and I’m a pretty good shot, but lately it hasn’t been often. It’s way too hard to find ammo!

Let’s talk dating, what’s your ideal partner when dating? Are you dating now or are you single? If single, are you interested in dating someone exclusively?

I have been single for going on 3 years and I have arrived to a comfortable point in my life where I could include someone exclusively. My ideal partner? Somebody who communicates effectively, treats me as an equal, was raised with good values and is currently happy with their life. As an individual, I feel whole and content, so I refuse to settle for anything less than I deserve. I can’t stress enough that you can’t make someone else happy unless you’re completely happy with yourself – and I can definitely say that!

You’re a very beautiful woman, I’ve always wondered, are DMs, social media comments, emails and so forth, are they generally pleasant or are they a bunch of creepy penis pics and unwanted messages?

I think I have it better than most people on social media. I have a lot of inspirational stories (I’m a surviving battered woman & I lost over 100 lbs), I travel, am independent and a motivationally driven person without regrets. I believe that everything that I have been through in life has made me who I am as a person and led me to this moment. I wouldn’t change anything – so, I receive a lot of messages from people telling me how I have inspired them to achieve certain things or be a certain way and I love that! It brings me so much joy to be able to help people, especially through their darkest moments.

But there will always be ‘that’ person, so of course I have gotten some creepy messages and uncensored pictures – but I don’t really let things like that affect me. I believe in responding to all messages and being respectful to everyone. I have a 2-strike block policy and very few people have made it to that. I view my pictures as artwork and it is understandable that some people don’t see them that way.

If you could give men (or women) any advice on how to win you over and keep a woman like you happy what would it be?

Be proud to have me on your arm, give me no reason to question your feelings for me, text back within a reasonable amount of time and give me all the cuddles!

What’s next for Elliott professionally? Running a business, starting one, growing your modeling presence, etc.?

I’m not the type of person who plans out my life. I just go with the flow and take life as it comes to me. It has worked for me this long and I couldn’t have asked for a better life!

Let’s have a little fun for the last few questions: what’s something people would be surprised to know about you?

I do my own vehicle maintenance and my own home renovations – never breaking any of my long, red nails! I strive to be the type of person that is going to figure out how to do something before I ask or pay for any help.

Are you really a jewelry snob? What type of jewelry do you like? I have a friend, she loves very unconventional pieces with many odd shapes and multi-colored stones. Also, have you ever heard of Melanie Casey Jewelry? I had never heard of them, but when I saw their pieces, they’re classic in style, but SHEESH! Very beautiful pieces! Plus, I love their story on how they started to where they are today.

I am very much a jewelry snob and you can blame my mom & dad! Growing up, my dad always gave my mom the most beautiful jewelry. I am constantly on the lookout to find pieces that stand out and are unique, usually gemstones. I hadn’t heard of her, but I checked out the website and she does have very nice jewelry, indeed! I fancy shopping with Le Vian and Brilliant Earth.

It has been an absolute pleasure to have this opportunity to learn a bit about you. When you’re much further on your life journey and things have taken off even more for you don’t forget about us. You promise?

I’ll just be over here living this adventure we call life, traveling the world and eagerly shooting modeling photos along the way. Everyone is placed into your life for a reason, so there is no way I would forget about you! I enjoyed answering your questions and wish you the best with your blog!
