“I’m a different person and I’ve changed alot and I feel like I know exactly where I’m going and what I’m doing and I’m in control.” – Linda Evangelista
What do you do & what inspires you to do it:
I am an actress and a model. What inspires me most is working with other artists and learning from them, there is nothing more fun and inspiring than the creative process. Honestly, I have been more excited about modeling lately, maybe because it is all so new, but also because of all of the incredibly talented people I have met and all of the support and encouragement I have been receiving, especially from other women and models. I have experienced/witnessed a lot of women lifting each other up and it is so moving.
How do you define success:
Doing what you love on any level, whatever that means to you. Whether you are able support yourself doing what you love or squeeze it into the day before or after “day job” work….never give up on your dreams!
What would you say to motivate a younger you to be successful in life:
Don’t let anyone make you doubt yourself, including you! Do it all, no excuses. Pay off your debts. Maybe lay off the chocolate cake and burgers a little. Get ready, the best is yet to come!
Are you doing now what you’ve always wanted to do or did you have other aspirations previously:
It’s funny, I’ve spent many years acting and I love it still, but modeling is something I would dream about as a young girl, because I was obsessed with amazing women like Linda Evangelista, Paulina Porizkova, Claudia Schiffer, Elle Macpherson & Cindy Crawford. Let’s just say I am not 5’9”, so although I did model a little in my teens, it didn’t go anywhere and then acting took over. Not that I will ever compare to those ladies, but it sure is fun to channel them during a great shoot!
What’s the best business or personal advice you’ve ever received:
Change is inevitable.
What’s something people would be surprised to know about you:
I love all kinds of music, but one thing I love more than almost anything is getting in the pit at a Heavy Metal concert!
Do you believe in a higher power:
I believe in many higher powers. The most powerful is the higher power within myself. I know…deep.
What’s something you can’t live without:
My kids & fuzzy socks.
Where do you see yourself in three years:
Ridiculously happy! Kicking lots of acting and modeling ass and having more time and money to dedicate to community service.
Single or taken:
It’s complicated. 😉
How many tattoos do you have:
One awesome ankle tattoo I got done on the Sunset Strip!
Name a Song you like and Artist:
Don’t Stop Believing – Journey. I have so many favorite songs and artists, but this one has stood the test of time, hopefully (at this point in the interview) for obvious reasons.
Name a movie you like:
What do you like to do for fun:
Road trips! Trying new things. Hanging with my amazing kids Hannah & Viggo.
