Houston Center for Photography Educates & Entertains All Lovers of Photography

Starting in 1981 as a small visual artists’ organization, Houston Center for Photography has grown to become an exemplary fine art organization. I had the opportunity to tour HCP and take advantage of their free exhibition gallery (In The Wake). It was intriguing to dig a little deeper into the art of photography; to learn the story & vision behind the artists’ work and to see HCP’s mission up close and personal.

Houston Center for Photography offers over 300 workshops a year for both film and digital photographers of all levels and ages as well. I love that HCP offers a place to educate and entertain all lovers of photography. Not to mention that they are photo friendly, so I took out my phone and snapped away! If you ever have the chance, I encourage you to get by and take in the art and education of Houston Center for Photography – you won’t be disappointed.
